Wait, Wait, Wait?

 a long time ago, it started with a conversation .. didn't realize it at that time, but i came to grasp the wisdom of her words a few years later... why would you wait to be given flowers... if you want flowers, go plant a garden for heaven's sake!  a couple of decades later, here is a poem with that sentiment.. let me know if it strikes a chord with you...

Wait , Wait , Wait?  What are you waiting for ?

Someone to give you flowers or a box of chocolates on Valentines day or anyday ?

Plant a garden for every flower you desire ,

Goto town at a chocolate factory!

Wait , Wait , Wait?  What are you waiting for ?

Someone to be nice to you or considerate, to be happy today or anyday?

You be nice to yourself, you consider yourself in every decision you make!

decide to be happy , no matter what!

Wait , Wait , Wait?  What are you waiting for ?

Someone to see the world with ? someone to walk hand in hand?

The world awaits you and your hand is in God’s hand.

Take his hand , waiting only for you!

Go boldly where time takes you !

Go happily where destiny guides you!

  Today is very special in 2 entirely different ways – this day last year my Father passed away.. this is also the day when an adorable bundle came into my life 3 decades ago named Rohini .. my first born.
